39 - Sikes Lake North

Here is the google pin to get driving directions :https://maps.app.goo.gl/EeuWkurrFqkTo94T8 This location includes the west end of Sikes Lake.  The lake IS NOT wadeable!  It drops right off, so you will either need to bring some kind of boat, or use a small grappling hook to retreave decoys.    There will not be a blind set up this season, so hunting is out of personal blinds.  We have mowed a big section of the canary grass that is due West of the parking area.  This should produce when we have sheet water.   If you are hunting on the North side of the Lake please make sure you are not shooting towards the structures on the South side.   THERE IS AN ELECTRIC FENCE THAT IS NOT TURNED ON.  It is about 20 yards from the Lake, so please watch out for it.  Parking - Parking is next to the KWTH sign on 284th Ave Northeast. Please remember at the end of each hunt Pick up any garbage including empty shell casings and wads.
